Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy Training Program
A five-day intensive program which provides nurses technical and nursing management skills and knowledge on handling and troubleshooting CRRT machines.
Hemodialysis Training Program for Nurses
A course designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide hemodialysis treatment and efficient care to renal patients. It consists of one week didactic sessions on the principles of hemodialysis, and four weeks clinical exposure in a dialysis facility.
Basic Course on Chemotherapy for Nurses
A one-day seminar which covers the principles of chemotherapy; safety standards required during the preparation, administration and storage of chemotherapeutic agents; and, nursing management for patients undergoing chemotherapy. It aims to train and increase nurses’ competency level by providing them basic knowledge and skills in the field of oncology nursing.
Dialysis Center Technician Course
A three-week course on the principles of dialysis center operation. Focus will be the technical aspects of dialysis treatment and the important tasks which a dialysis technician is expected to perform during hemodialysis procedure. Training methodology includes didactics and hands-on training in a dialysis facility.
Basic Principles of Hernia Repair Using Tissue Adhesive and Short Stitch Technique
A one-day program, targeted towards residents and consultants, which offers an overview of the different surgical management of inguinal and incisional hernia. The course comprises up-to-date didactic sessions and live demonstration of hernia repair using tissue adhesive (for inguinal hernia) and the short stitch technqiue (for incisional hernia). The current mesh technology, mesh fixation technique and current evidence in surgical treatment on hernia will also be discussed.
Perioperative Nursing 101
A twenty-two (22) day Basic Competency Training Program for nurses which covers the principles and techniques of perioperative nursing and their application in surgical settings. It includes extensive learning of AORN standards and recommended practices as well as competency-based training.
